Mr. Exum's Bio

Hello Class,

My name is Mr. Exum, I will be your Art teacher this year! I would like to begin by giving you a little background information on myself so you get to know me a little better. I graduated from the University of Redlands in 2016 where I played both baseball and football. I just recently receive my teaching credential and soon will receive my Masters in Educational Technology from National University.

I enjoy playing baseball and football on my free time in different leagues around San Diego for fun, I also enjoy recreational basketball. I like spending my weekends and early mornings surfing when I am able to. I have three dogs, a black lab, a golden retriever and a rat terrier. I coach baseball and football for a local high school as well. This will be my fourth year coaching football and my third year coaching baseball there.

I have a degree in Graphic Design and often like spending my time drawing, painting and designing for local businesses. This will be my first year officially teaching, I have three years experience as a substitute at the high school level.

I look forward to this year and getting a change to get to know all of you!

This class helps students achieve their visual arts requirement in order to graduate. Click here for a link to the Sweetwater Union High School Graduation Requirements.
